Reviews and Ratings
Staying at Conca D'Or was a mixed experience. On the plus side, you can't beat the location right on the beach, which is perfect for our family reunion. However, the motel itself feels outdated and poorly maintained; the beds were incredibly uncomfortable and the shower water was a dangerous mix of freezing and scalding. If you prioritize beach access over comfort, this may work for you, but it definitely has room for improvement.
We've been choosing the Conca D'Or for family reunions for years, and while its location right on the beach is unbeatable, I can't help but feel disappointed by the lack of upkeep. The amenities really show their age and could use some serious renovations, especially the beds which are incredibly uncomfortable. The shower situation is also concerning; the water fluctuates from lukewarm to scalding hot, making it a risky venture. It's a shame because the spot is perfect for beach lovers.
We've been coming to Conca D'Or for family reunions for years because of its unbeatable beachfront location. However, the motel itself leaves much to be desired, with outdated beds and bedding that haven't changed in over two decades. The showers are a nightmare, fluctuating between lukewarm and scalding hot. It's hard to believe this place hasn't been shut down by the health department. On the bright side, you really can't beat the view and access to the beach.
I've been coming to the Conca D'Or for a family reunion for years, and while the location is unbeatable right on the beach, the motel really hasn't changed in over two decades. The lack of maintenance is evident, especially with the uncomfortable beds that have made our nights less than restful. A serious issue is the shower, which fluctuates between very weak and scalding hot, making it a bit of a nightmare to use. Overall, it's a shame because the beach access is fantastic, but the accommodations could really use an upgrade.
